Jeremy Griffaud „Landstrenght”

Landstrength is an animated video composed of handmade drawings and cut-up images from internet. The film shows powerful landscapes, tough trees and mountains making war. The vegetal world is now body builded and ready to fight.
The project is inspired by some of the existing ways of representation of self and self-staging through social media. I used the cult of body and intense fitness as a material and a language. How do we create a culture in social medias and how we try to spread it. This video plays with some stereotypes of the manly individual and social codes of intimidating mode of existence.
